The stand is stocked with many delectable items including pie's, jellies, and jams. Also you'll find fresh grow vegetables of all types and sizes -most of it grown right here in Chester.

In the spring you can also pick your own strawberries and raspberries. You should also look for fresh picked asparagus and rhubarb.

Yet Another hayride scene...

During spring strawberry season and fall pumpkin picking there are free complementary hayrides on the weekends. In the fall school tours and pumpkin picking are offered during the week.

Believe me with some of the large pumpkins you need a ride back from the field. Just carrying them to the car makes you remember why its a lot more fun to visit a farm than to work at one-at least as a pumpkin carrier.

So many to choose from! Your task isn't always simple in selecting just the right pumpkin. It's best to go with an expert. To choose the right expert they must be under 12 years of age, extremely indecisive, like large pumpkins but are not willing to help carry them. When mom or dad thinks it to big to lift or to large to carry then you've got the right one.

A little tip in handling experts is to tell them that if they choose too large or heavy a pumpkin you won't be able to carry that candy or caramel apple.

Lots of pumpkins!
